Yousef Javadi is an accomplished entrepreneur, innovator, and executive in the telecommunications and Internet technology sectors. He has over 30 years of experience, strategic focus, and senior level expertise at starting, growing, and managing global businesses. During his tenure as an executive, he has built multinational businesses, completed complex deals and has acquired and restructured both start-up and Fortune-size private and public companies.
In 2007, Javadi assembled a world class group of scientists who invented the next generation of video distribution platform. Since then, under his direction as the Co-Founder and CEO of LTN Global Communications, Inc., this cloud-based video transport technology has been commercialized and now covers a global footprint. Today, LTN is revolutionizing the world of broadcasting and is providing service to some of the world`s largest media companies, broadcasting live news, special events, and full time TV channels across the globe. The vision and technology innovated by LTN is, in fact, changing the economics and accessibility of TV and professional content distribution over the Internet.
Prior to founding LTN, Javadi was President of Sprint International, a billion dollar global subsidiary of Sprint. As a senior corporate officer of this Fortune 50 Company he ran all of Sprint’s businesses, alliances, and relationships outside of the U.S. He developed the strategy and business plan to expand Sprint globally, and built and launched Sprint’s wholly owned network and operations worldwide. Prior to Sprint, Javadi was the COO of Primus Telecom. He was part of the group that built Primus from inception into an over $1 billion global, facilities-based telecommunications service provider.
Javadi has been awarded two patents by the U.S. Patent Office and the British Patent Office. These patents innovated distribution of TV over IP media, as well as invented the use of parallel overlay networks, in a distributed system, such as the internet.
Javadi was awarded the 2013 Ellis Island Medal of Honor for outstanding citizenship, individual achievement, and encouragement of cultural unity. The Ellis Island Medals of Honor were conceived to pay tribute to the experience and remarkable individual achievements of immigrants and are sanctioned by the United States Congress.
In addition to his contributions to the fields of telecommunications and IP Technology, Javadi is most proud of his role and active involvement in ensuring that the Iranian American community in the U.S. remains vibrant, active, and protectors of its ancient heritage and culture. He is one of the founders of the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA), a non-profit organization, launched in 2007, that works actively to strengthen the Iranian American community, voice, and youth. Javadi holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Engineering from MIT, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
