Michael Waltz represents the 6th district in Florida, which includes Flagler and Volusia counties as well as portions of Lake and St. Waltz is a Florida native, combat-decorated Green Beret, former White House and Pentagon policy advisor, and small business owner. Waltz ran for Congress on a bipartisan platform of getting results. He supported efforts to offer DACA recipients a pathway to citizenship in return for increased border funding. Waltz believes that our nation is in desperate need of a long-term solution to both fully secure our borders and tackle long-overdue legal immigration reform.
Waltz is an original cosponsor to H.Res.1008, a resolution that seeks to uphold the civil liberties and civil rights of Iranian Americans and condemns bigotry, violence, and discrimination.
