Mahdad Hashemian
Mac Hashemian formed his current corporation, Xyntek Incorporated,
www.xyntekinc.com while a junior in College. Upon graduation he won
design contracts from NASA, Naval Surface Warfare Center in White Oak,
MD, and designed the controls and automation for the largest Navigational
Locks in the world, the Saint Lawrence Seaway Navigational Locks, in
Massena, N.Y.
Mac continued his education by obtaining a Master's in Electrical &
Computer Engineering from University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA,
an Ivy League University, and graduated with a 3.94 G.P.A.
Mac opened up his second office for Xyntek, Inc. in 1992 in New Jersey, in
order to provide automation to the pharmaceutical & the bio-tech industry.
Since then the corporation has won over 80 awards, patents, and copyrights
for designing some of the very first innovative embedded microprocessor
based automated systems for high speed Drug Discovery, High Throughout
Drug Screening, Laboratory Automation, Drug Evaluation, Drug Development,
Non-Clinical trials, Clinical Trials, Bulk Batch & Continuous Bio-Reactor
Based Manufacturing, And High Speed Packaging. Some of Xyntek's clients
include, Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, Ortho
Pharmaceuticals, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Mc-Neil Pharmaceuticals,
Lifescan, Alza, Centocor, Ortho Bio-tech, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb,
Pfizer, Novartis, Glaxo-Smithkline, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Amgen,
Genentech, Wyeth, Hoffman La Roche, Beckton-Dicknson, & etc. These world
