National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC)
The NRSC supports the election of Republicans to the U.S. Senate through direct financial contributions to candidates and provides technical and research assistance to candidates and party organizations; voter education, polling, resources for research and turnout programs. It is a tremendous potential source of campaign funds for Republican candidates. Furthermore, the NRSC is a command post -- a nerve center through which flows all the latest information about issues and trends and opportunities for Republican candidates.
The NRSC is governed by its chairman, U.S. Senator George Allen (R-VA), and co-chairs composed of Republican members of the U.S. Senate. In a letter to IAPAC, Senator George Allen expressed his enthusiasm to work with the Iranian American community and address
issues of mutual concern.
By contributing the NRSC, IAPAC will receive annual membership to the Republican Senate Council. The Council provides opportunities for Political Action Committees to meet with Republican Senators and voice their concerns over government regulations and policies.
